Journey to the New World

Mass migration to the Americas has been happening since the 1700’s.

Since the discovery of the Americas, millions have left their homelands to rebuild their lives from scratch in this new world. I count myself among them, a graduate student working in Silicon Valley, drawn by the promise of opportunities and the chance to leave behind the hardships of my origins. Like many others, I sought a sanctuary where peace and joy might replace the trials and tribulations of the past.

Our struggles shape the human experience, giving our lives meaning but often binding us to our ego and sense of self. In understanding and transcending our egos, we discover the key to transforming our suffering into blossoming lotus flowers. This practice allows us to move beyond the constraints of duality, enabling us to perceive the divine (god, creator, source, etc.) as an infinite, wave-like energy resonating with the frequency of non-dual love.

The journey to this new world is not just a physical migration but a profound inner transformation. As we strive for better opportunities and a brighter future, we also embark on a spiritual quest to transcend our egos and connect with a higher frequency of existence. This dual journey—external and internal—defines our path to true peace and joy.

In this new land, we forge new identities, build new communities, and create new possibilities. But the ultimate sanctuary we seek is within ourselves, in the understanding and acceptance of our true nature. By embracing non-dual love and recognizing the divine energy that connects us all, we can transform our lives and the world around us.

As we navigate this complex and ever-changing landscape, let us remember that our true journey is one of self-discovery and spiritual awakening. In this pursuit, we can find the peace and joy that we have always sought, not just in the new world but within our own hearts.
